All Lives Matter

Lied: How would you feel

How would you feel?
Imagine you were treated differently every day.
Image you didn’t have the chance to prove yourself.
Imagine how you would feel!

You would ask yourself every day what you did wrong.
You would ask yourself every day what makes you different.
You would ask yourself every day why you can’t be like the others.

You would feel alone.
You would feel misunderstood.
You would feel inferior.

But you aren’t alone.
But you aren’t inferior.
And you didn’t do anything wrong.
And you didn’t do anything wrong!

How would you feel?
How would you feel if this was your life?
How would you feel?

Slamgedicht: Why*

What is happening
Why do good people have to die
Why does a mother have to cry
Over her child
Who was murdered

Nobody‘s born racist, it’s something you learn
Why do some people have to earn their basic rights
Judging people by their skin colour is lame
Because inside we are all the same

‘‘I can’t breathe“  – that’s what he said but they didn’t stop and now he is dead
So every good cop needs to stand up and make some noise
Black, white, Asian, doesn’t matter cause we can’t avoid

We should build a union
Help each other
Spread love, show love, give love
Fight for one another

I don’t get it
Why do people hate each other
Why does a mother have  to cry
Over her child
Who was murdered
