Christmas Tree Tessellation

Tessellations show how beautiful and fascinating math truly is. Each student colored and designed her individual little Christmas tree. The little pieces tessellate, meaning they fit together perfectly without any overlaps or gaps in between them. Our tessellated Christmas tree combines the individual pieces of each student to make a greater whole - literally showing how important each individual student is to make up our class.
